Labor Day Weekend

Dean had Friday off like usual and Monday off because of Labor Day so we had a 4 day weekend. Friday we went to Wichita Falls, TX. It is a lot bigger than Lawton (the closest big city). It's about an hour and a half away. Dean was feeling a bit crab crazy so we went to Red Lobster and split 2 pounds of crab legs. We drove by a lot of football stadiums that were packed since football is such a staple on a Friday night in Texas. Hopefully we can make it down to Odessa Texas (the town Friday Night Lights is based on) someday and watch a football game. On the way we saw a cow crossing sign instead of a deer crossing sign and Dean got really excited. If I had seen another one I would have taken a picture of it. Saturday we spent all day watching college football. KU totally fell apart and lost to North Dakota State 3-6. It was a very boring game to watch. I wish I had that 3 hours of my life back. But BYU upset Washington so Dean was happy so the day wasn't totally shot. Sunday I got called and sustained as a primary teacher. I have subbed in the class the last 2 Sundays and the kids are really fun. They want me to bring them rootbeer floats next week as a treat. Monday our computer crashed. It keeps turning off randomly and after a while it wouldn't stay on for more than 5 minutes at a time. We ordered a new one from Dell and hopefully I get enough sub work in by the next paycheck to pay it off. But now that we have the computer plugged in it is actually staying on. I guess its true what they say: "the best way to find/fix something is to buy a replacement." But the computer is still running a bit slower and Dean will be starting class soon. Hopefully this computer isn't totally lost but it would never last the 3 hours that Dean needs it for school so a new one was inevitable anyway. Jag is doing really well with her tricks. She can beg and lately I've been working on "shake" with her and she is getting better every day. Mom told me that Caleb wanted to see pictures of our house down here. I had a post all ready with a picture and a video tour of the inside. But the computer wouldn't stay on long enough to post the video. Plus the video was having some problems posting anyway. Hopefully when we get our new computer in a couple weeks I will be able to try again.
