Hiking again...

The weather in Oklahoma has been perfect lately. The temperature is in the mid 70's most days and the sun is shining. There hasn't been much rain lately and the wind blows pretty hard sometimes which puts us under fire weather and red flag warnings (which means that conditions are good for wildfires). In fact last weekend there was a wildfire about a mile south of our house. But that's all beside the point. Other than the threat of wildfires the weather has been great. So I talked Dean into taking me hiking this morning. He grudgingly agreed but he had fun like he always does. We went to our normal trail start and again made our own path up the "mountain". Word on the street is that rattlesnakes are starting to come out of hibernation. They are even starting to catch them for the annual rattlesnake roundup in a couple months (we'll take pictures of that, don't worry). Luckily we didn't happen across any rattlesnakes although I did see a small lizard out of the corner of my eye that scared me out of my pants. This is all a round-about way of saying 'we went on a hike and took some pictures, take a look.'
