Easter

This weekend we went up back to Kansas City for Easter weekend. Dean's parents butchered a cow for us so we went to pick up the meat. Dean worked extra hours during the week so he got of early Thursday morning and we drove home. On our way we stopped to see Grandpa and Grandma Fisher and Grandma Marcell. We also drove by the temple on the way home to see the progress.

Friday Dean and I went to the dentist. It has been a couple of years since we both have been so we decided it was time. Saturday Becky, Nellie and I met at Wallace State Park for an Easter barbeque.

Then Dean and I went on a horseback ride.

We also did some shooting. We had a big box full of A&W bottles that we saved for shooting. We have always forgotten to take them but we finally remembered.

Sunday we had a big Easter dinner with Dean's family. And we also exchanged Easter baskets.

Monday morning we loaded up the truck with meat and headed home. On the way home we stopped at this place so Jag could take a bathroom break. There were some buffalo statues and a real buffalo in a fence. The fake buffalo scared Jag so much that she wouldn't take her bathroom break.

We also saw a double rainbow on the drive home. It was a fun weekend but we are glad to be home.

  1. How did you get Jag to stick her tongue out at us in the picture? I'm sure glad you saw two rainbows and not two tornadoes! How is your garden growing Mrs. McGregor?
